Everybody’s situation and story is unique — so how can we assume all needs are the same?

Each young person who walks through Frontyard’s door is welcomed and receives personalised and holistic triage and support.

No needs are too complex

Our Intensive Case Management Team provides high quality case management services for young people aged 16 to 24. Their role is to provide holistic support that assists young people to achieve individual goals.

Trained in dealing with multiple and complex needs, our Support Workers offer case planning, intervention services and facilitation of support services to assist with:

  • health
  • mental health
  • family reconciliation
  • shared, social and transitional housing
  • private rental accommodation

By assessing and meeting individual needs, we work to identify pathways out of the homelessness system.

Support for young women and expectant parents

The Young Women’s Crisis Service (YWCS) is a case management program supporting young women aged 16 to 24. The program can assist women both with and without children, or those who are pregnant, who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness in Melbourne’s north and west. While this intensive support focusses primarily on housing, it can also assist to connect to:

  • mental health support
  • drug and alcohol support
  • education
  • employment
  • parenting/pregnancy support
  • community engagement
