MCM exists so that people can lead positive lives. Through our advocacy, we share our expertise with the community and advocate for wider societal changes that improve the lives of the people we support.
We are dedicated to delivering evidence-based services that create powerful and sustainable positive change.
Our work is focused around three key pillars that we see as essential for social inclusion and equitable participation in society:
Our research and advocacy is grounded in lived experience, and we engage people as partners and advocates. We value the power of collective advocacy and work in partnership with the community to amplify our voice.
Research helps us to build a deeper understanding of the complex barriers and challenges our clients face, and to understand and continuously improve the effectiveness of our programs.
Advocacy is an important tool in our work to disrupt disadvantage, break down barriers and support people to achieve their best future, their way. Through our advocacy, we share our expertise with the community and advocate for policy and wider societal changes that improve the lives of the people we support.
MCM undertakes purposeful advocacy at all levels – government, private sector and community. We work closely with the sector to advocate for positive social change. We have been an active voice on a number of current and recent advocacy campaigns.
MCM values curiosity and openness. We seek to partner with researchers who align to our research vision, are committed to high quality applied and accessible research, and use innovative and human-centred approaches.
