We offer free health and wellbeing services for young people experiencing homelessness at our location in the CBD.

Young People’s Health Service (YPHS)

The YPHS is run by The Royal Children’s Hospital Centre for Adolescent Health. It’s the only primary health care service specifically working with young people who are at risk of, or currently experiencing homelessness or marginalisation.

The service is free and caters to people aged 12 to 24. Drop-ins are welcome during open hours, which are Monday to Friday 11:30am to 5pm. Health care staff are available for treatments, assessment, information, and referrals.

Check-In Program

The Check-In Program is run in partnership with St Vincent’s Hospital, providing care and support to young people experiencing complex mental ill health and currently experiencing homelessness.

Providing clinical and non-clinical support and interventions, the multidisciplinary team comprises of specialist Mental Health Peer Workers, Occupational Therapists and Care Coordinators. The team provides centre-based support and community-based outreach, with the aim to achieve shorter- and longer-term mental health goals and recovery plans with young people that access Frontyard Youth Services and Circuit Breaker.
