Melbourne Youth Support Service (MYSS) is a state-wide homelessness access point based at Frontyard for people aged 16 to 24.
It provides information, short-term support and referrals for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This support can be provided face to face at Frontyard and over the phone.
Access points are the primary means for young people experiencing homelessness to gain assistance with:
MYSS is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10am to 6pm. For more information, please call 03 9977 0078.
At Frontyard, we have 18 beds available for crisis accommodation, with 9 beds on each floor. The bedrooms were purpose-built with ensuites, quality finishes, and furniture.
Young people can stay in these bedrooms while we assist in finding a long-term solution.
Our innovative, disruptive model of care offers a 24-hour service so a young person can find accommodation as soon as possible.
Referrals to the Frontyard Accommodation Program must come through homelessness access points. Please see MYSS Access Point contact details listed above and visit the DHHS website for other homelessness support agencies.
