Sam Barrett

Sam has worked in the community sector for over 20 years and has held senior leadership roles across a variety of not-for-profit organisations. Sam has significant experience in policy, innovation, data, business management, leadership and governance.

Between 2010 and 2015 Sam lead the MCM youth refuge program and was Co-Chair of the Victorian Youth Refuges Network. Sam then went on to work in senior leadership roles in adult mental health and homelessness services in Adelaide. This included leading South Australia’s first Social Impact Bond – Aspire.

In early 2020 Sam returned to MCM to lead their first Social Impact project, Living Learning. Living Learning is now a well developed and successful program demonstrating MCM’s abilities to lead sector innovation and the development of emerging models of care.
