Children's holiday program now open for enrolments

Our Early Childhood Intervention Team (ECIS) will be running a series of interactive social groups during the holidays for school aged children and for children about to start in Grade Prep/Foundation. Through our School Readiness and Active Kids program, our ECIS team will work with children on fundamental skills for motor development and social interactions at our locations in Brunswick and Mill Park.

Goals for the groups:

• Developing gross motor skills
• Developing fine motor skills
• Beginning to follow simple instructions
• Communicating with others.

Sessions are staffed by our highly experienced specialist teachers, who make active play fun for all. Following each session, staff will document how each child participated and worked towards set goals. At the end of the group, families will receive a summary report, detailing children's progress to use for  NDIS reviews. Places are limited and a commitment to both sessions is required.

Early Years Hub Hartnett House

Group 1: School Readiness

For children who are attending prep at a mainstream school in 2021. Four children per group.

• 2 x 3 hour sessions during January holidays.
• Dates: Tuesday 19 & Wednesday 20 January
• Time: 9:30AM – 12:30PM
• Location: Hartnett House, 123 Albion Street, Brunswick

Group 2: Active Kids

For children who are already attending school. Four children per group.

• 2 x 3 hour sessions during January holidays.
• Dates: Tuesday 12 & Wednesday 13 January
• Time: 9:30AM – 12:30PM
• Location: Hartnett House, 123 Albion Street, Brunswick

Mill Park

Group 1: School Readiness
