We are delighted to announce that Quantum Support Services has officially joined the MCM group.
The Gippsland-based provider of family and community supports, including family violence, homelessness and kinship, and foster care services, joins MCM’s community care services, MCM Housing and Hester Hornbrook Academy as part of the MCM Group.
The move will see all parts of the group leverage each other’s strengths and expertise to achieve growth ambitions and to add services that will benefit more Victorians. MCM CEO Vicki Sutton said that this exciting collaboration will ultimately enable each of the entities to innovate, advocate and grow their impact, in line with MCM’s overarching strategy.
“Our work together over the last year has confirmed just how complementary our skills and expertise are. We’ve recently won a tender for housing for young people leaving care, which we’ve started to implement. In addition, there will be opportunities to improve our financial sustainability by sharing support functions, so that we can invest more in that in frontline services and advocacy.”
Natalie McDonald, who will continue as the CEO of Quantum Support Services, which will continue to deliver the same services and supports to its clients across Gippsland, said this was a great move for the organisation and for Gippsland people.
“By joining the MCM Group, Quantum can not only strengthen our local service delivery but ensure that we can continue to invest in services and expand our offering to support people in Gippsland. We also look forward to sharing our knowledge on areas like family violence and foster and kinship care and to contributing a regional perspective to MCM’s advocacy efforts.”
