About the Opportunity

As our Learning & Capability Lead, you'll think creatively and analytically to design solutions to make a difference. Whether that's translating a strategy into a learning framework, crafting a leadership workshop, creating digital learning or mini videos, supporting a team talk, developing proposals, scoping learning pathways, or a mini-initiative that makes an impact. You'll own your work end-to-end, from problem definition through to facilitation and evaluation.

  • You're a tech savvy practitioner - you love the craft and are testing and incorporating AI tools while keeping it human where it matters most!

     

  • You balance quality with pace of delivery, driving your milestones and engaging others along the way.
  • You move between strategic and hands-on without missing a beat. Equally at home in a leadership conversation as you are scoping a program, building a resource or facilitating a room.

     

  • You're drawn to purpose-driven work and understand that context shapes how you design.

     

  • You mentor others to grow their change, learning and capability building skills!

Essential:

  • Qualification in Psychology, Organisational Development, Human Resources, Arts or a related field
  • Experience in a generalist learning and development role where you have been creating not just maintaining
  • Demonstrated experience working from problem definition through to solution design and delivery, including ideation, content development and facilitation
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and translating complex or emerging needs into practical learning solutions
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills, with a strength in writing instructional content and ensuring materials are visually professionally
  • Exceptional project management, organisational skills and drive to move projects forward – driving multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, for a variety of audiences both virtual and face-to-face

Screening Criteria:

  • National Police check
  • Working with Children check (Employee) or ability to obtain
  • Valid Victorian Drivers license
  • Right to Work in Australia
