Key Worker - Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist

About the Opportunity

Locations: Maribyrnong (West) or Greensborough (North-East)

Join a well-established early childhood intervention team where clinical reasoning and collaboration sit at the centre of practice.

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-informed clinical intervention within a transdisciplinary key worker model, supporting young children and their families in everyday environments.

No two days are the same. You will have autonomy to plan and schedule your work in a way that supports families, while maintaining clinical quality and consistency.

About you

We are looking for someone who can:

• Deliver clinical intervention that supports participation in daily routines
• Work with families using a coaching approach to build confidence and capability
• Provide support in home, kindergarten, and community settings
• Apply your discipline knowledge within a shared team model
• Translate assessment and observation into clear, practical strategies
• Contribute to goal setting, review, and ongoing clinical decision making
• Work alongside allied health, educators, and other key people in the child’s life

Essential:

• Qualification in Occupational Therapy (AHPRA) or Speech Pathology (SPA)
• Experience or interest in early childhood intervention
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to apply this in practice
• Confidence working independently and within a team
• A clear, practical approach to supporting children and families

Screening Criteria:

• National Police check
• Working with Children check and NDIS Worker Screening check or ability to obtain
• Valid Victorian Drivers license
• Right to Work in Australia
