Education Week is a time to recognise the incredible role education plays in shaping young lives. This year, from Monday 13 May to Friday 17 May, Victoria celebrated Education Week 2025, highlighting the dedication of teachers, support staff, and professionals who make a difference every day.
At MCM ECIS, we’re proud to celebrate our Child Development Specialists—highly skilled teachers who have taken their passion for education beyond the classroom. With years of experience supporting children with disabilities in school settings, they now work directly with families as Key Workers, helping children develop essential skills and transition smoothly into school life.

Chipo is one of our Child Development Specialists at MCM ECIS. With a background in teaching, she works alongside our allied health team to support children with additional needs and disabilities- helping them build skills, confidence, and get ready for school. |
Our Child Development Specialists bring a deep understanding of early learning and development. One of their biggest strengths is school transition support. They are experts in guiding families through the process of finding the right school, advocating for appropriate supports, and ensuring a smooth start to formal education. Their knowledge of education systems, classroom strategies, and individualised learning approaches makes them invaluable in setting children up for success.
At MCM ECIS, we take a team-based approach. Our Child Development Specialists collaborate closely with families and other professionals to provide holistic, evidence-based support tailored to each child’s needs. By working in everyday environments—at home, kinder, and school—they ensure children can develop skills in real-world settings.
As we celebrate Education Week 2025, we acknowledge the dedication of our Child Development Specialists and all educators who make a lasting impact on children’s lives. Thank you for your commitment to learning, inclusion, and empowerment!
