Frontyard is a specialist youth service (16 – 24 years) providing a range of multidisciplinary, intensive support in one building that disrupts disadvantage. Frontyard aims to support young people holistically to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs with the end goal a pathway out of homelessness.
This role sits within the Circuit Breaker Accommodation Program. The program is a mix of short and longer-term therapeutic housing option for young people that universal homelessness services have not been able to assist in breaking the cycle of homelessness they are experiencing. The program consists of a multidisciplinary team and works from a healing oriented, strengths-based framework and focuses on working with young people to reach their goals and exit the homelessness service system.
This is a part-time contract position with a minimum guarantee of 20 hours being offered per week. Shifts will be offered to those in flexible part time roles before being offered to casual positions. There is no fixed roster for this role; instead, hours are flexible and will be scheduled in response to rostered operational needs, including coverage requirements within the youth refuge. Rosters are provided around four weeks in advance. Flexibility and availability to work across a range of shifts are a requirement.
