Advocacy Campaigns

Creating sustainable change together.

MCM supports sector advocacy campaigns that align with our values and advocacy priorities including:

Home Time

home time logoHome Time is a national campaign to unlock Australia’s housing system for almost 40,000 children and young people with nowhere to live. Home Time advocates for a range of models that provide housing and support to young people, including Youth Foyers, Housing First models, and other supported youth housing programs delivered by specialist youth housing providers.

Everybody's Home

Everybody’s Home is a national campaign calling for an end to Australia's housing crisis. MCM is a campaign partner working with the sector to call on the government to make simple changes with a big impact to fix Australia’s housing system.

Raise the Rate for Good

Rate the rate for good logoRaise the Rate for Good aims to reduce poverty and inequality in Australia. The campaign goal is to increase the Jobseeker and Youth Homelessness rate to at least $70 per day – the calculated amount required to keep the average Australian out of poverty.

Home Stretch

The Home Stretch advocates for providing out-of-home care and housing for young people in state care until the age of 21. The Home Stretch campaign aims to normalise extended care and help provide young people with a firm footing into adulthood independence.

Alliance20

Alliance20 brings together Australia’s largest and most influential disability service providers that can leverage their history, expertise, research and innovation to shape the NDIS. MCM is proud to be part of the Alliance20 group which represents some of Australia’s largest disability service providers.

TARGET ZERO
