Government Child Care Subsidy

Your family may be eligible for support from the Federal Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS). For more information, visit the Department of Human Services.

No Jab No Play applies to our Doreen centre

In January 2016, the Victorian State Government introduced legislation around immunisation.

The law states all children need to be fully vaccinated to be enrolled in a child care or kindergarten service.

Evidence of immunisation is needed before you can enrol your child

As part of the Victorian Government legislation, our Doreen early learning centre needs evidence that your child is one of the following:

  • fully immunised for their age
  • on a recognised vaccination catch-up program
  • unable to be fully immunised for medical reasons

Conscientious objection is not an exemption to the legislation.

We need an immunisation status certificate to enrol your child in our services. An Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (ACIR) is required as immunisation evidence.

You can obtain an ACIR Immunisation History Statement:

  • online through your MyGov Medicare
  • by visiting your local Medicare or Centrelink service centre
  • by calling the ACIR on 1800 653 809

For further information on vaccination requirements, please visit the Better Health website.
