    Join our community

    MCM Early Years Hub Doreen is a multi-purpose community hub designed to connect children and families to early learning, activities, and specialized supports.

    Run by MCM, we offer quality care for every child.

    Our educators go above and beyond to create an engaging, inclusive, safe and nurturing learning environment for your child, and we offer a range of extracurricular activities, including:

    • Sports program
    • Music, dance and drama program
    • Excursions to local parks and schools
    • Holiday programs (vacation care)
    • Dental van visits
    • Varying incursions throughout the year.

    Our operating hours are from 6:30am – 6:30pm Monday to Friday.
    *Closed Public Holidays.

    Kindergarten and childcare programs

    We offer 3-year-old and 4-year-old funded kindergarten run by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. Children aged 6 weeks to 3 years are delivered educational programs in line with their current individual interests and developmental needs.. 

    Natural, large and well-equipped playgrounds

    With three separate yards (divided into babies, toddlers and kindergarten groups), children have dedicated outdoor learning spaces to allow for their individual developmental needs.

    The spaces are designed to allow for safe exploration of their outdoor environment, while offering opportunities for social, cognitive, and physically appropriate play.

    Yards feature age-appropriate resources, sandpits, soft fall areas, quiet and restful spaces, and shaded areas.

    A large, commercial-grade kitchen and a seasonal, nutritional menu

    Since opening in October 2015, MCM Early Years Hub Doreen has had the same long-standing chef. She takes great pride in generating seasonal menus that take the children’s nutritional requirements into account. All meals are prepared with love, as she views the children as part of her own family.

    The Bilby (baby room) lead educator and our chef have worked collaboratively to deliver a tailored menu to the younger children that allows for exploration of flavours, textures, and aromas to further their physical and sensory development.

    All meals can be altered to take into account any dietary requirements

    A community meeting space
