About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Organisation Marketing and Brand this role is responsible for coordinating MCM's social media platforms across the business.

 

The Social Media Coordinator is a key role within the collaborative Brand & Marketing team. You will create content, schedule posts, monitor, respond, report and advise internally across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter. You will stay up to date on the changes to the benefits, requirements and limitations of each of these channels and make recommendations and inform decisions accordingly.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be able to successfully demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

Essential:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in social media/marketing
  • Experience in creating engaging social content for organic social media including video content, stories, and blogs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Superior stakeholder management and relationship building skills

Desirable:

  • Paid ads experience, specifically the use of Facebook Ads.
  • Tertiary qualifications in social media or marketing
  • Basic graphic design experience using Adobe.

  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa
