About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Centre Manager who can come and join our team at Hartnett House (Brunswick). We have an opportunity that is once in a lifetime in a non-for-profit organisation that is making a difference in the community by providing quality early years services unlike any other. The right applicant will have strong knowledge in the National Quality Framework and the ability to apply early years “best practice” standards. 

Skills and experience


  • Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Children Services recognized by ACECQA under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
  • Current Asthma, First Aid, Anaphylaxis intervention Certificates and CPR.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a successful child care service.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, planning and implementing innovative programs that reflect the community’s needs.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to the day-to-day operations.
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship building skills with both staff and families.


  • Business acumen with an understanding of how staffing and operation decisions impact the bottom line, not just in meeting financial expectations but also in quality delivery of service.
