About the program

The service provides support to people with a variety of needs to both children and adults, including intellectual disability, autism, dual disabilities, behaviours of concern and physical disabilities. We are dedicated to providing positive outcomes for people with disabilities empowering them to achieve their goals to make a difference to their lives.

About the role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high quality support to individuals of varying ages in a number of environments, assisting people to maintain their daily routine and achieve their goals. 

About you

You are passionate about working with people with a disability. You are enthusiastic, experienced and resilient and thrive in a working environment where every day is challenging and different.

You will also possess the following:

  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level Two)
  • A current Drivers Licence and Roadworthy Vehicle
  • Experience working with young people
  • Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Experience with PEG -support and Diabetes Awareness
  • Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern
  • Available to work a variety of shifts, weekends, day, night, sleepovers and willing to accept shorter shifts.
  • A Certificate IV in Disability (desirable)
