About the role

We are currently looking for a Full Time Assistant Centre Manager who is able to join our team at Hartnett House Children’s Centre located in Brunswick. We have an opportunity that is once in a lifetime in a non-for-profit organization that is making a difference in the community by providing quality early years services unlike any other. Hartnett House Children’s Centre is a 126-place service with 6 rooms ranging from 6 weeks old to 6-year old. We are looking for an exceptional leader to join the team and guide them through a journey that will both inspire and innovate our educators. The right applicant will have strong knowledge in the National Quality Framework and the ability to apply early years “best practice” standards. 

Duties include but is not limited to:

  • Work alongside the Centre Manager
  • Administrative tasks
  • On floor role modelling
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders

Skills & experience include but is not limited to:

  • High attention to detail & exceptional skills and knowledge in the ‘cycle of planning’
  • Ability to lead a team (Leadership Skills)
  • Strong skills in setting up engaging & inspirational environments
  • Open communication skills
